Turquoise!

Pantone recently unveiled the Color of the Year for 2010. It's PANTONE® 15-5519 Turquoise. 

"Combining the serene qualities of blue and the invigorating aspects 

of green, Turquoise evokes thoughts of soothing, tropical waters 

and a languorous, effective escape from the everyday troubles 

of the world, while at the same time restoring our sense of wellbeing."

I have always been a fan of turquoise. Many days you will find me wearing one of my favorite pairs of turquoise earrings. Such a great accent to any outfit.

It truly is a color that is timeless and almost anyone can wear. Whether you want to rock an elegant, natural, or quirky look turquoise is a great choice.

Turquoise is great on its own but it's also a great color to mix with others, whether in fashion or interiors. Some of my favorite color combinations are:

It also reminds me of a beautiful ocean...and my trip to Belize and Honduras this summer. Oh, to be back here lying on the beach!
